2nd Mondays  |  September 13, October 11, November 8, December 13  |  7:30 – 8:30 pm

FREE for writers, FREE for actors, FREE for audience

Playwrights, TV and screen writers, these evenings are for you! (Actors, we love you!) Be one of the first 6 writers to sign up each month and 10 minutes of your work will be performed by professional actors, free of charge. See if the scene flows, watch the reaction of the audience, or simply exult in knowing that your work was performed! This is first come, first serve.

Email Maya@bax.org to reserve a slot or let us know that you are an actor ready to read!

NOTE: While the readings start at 7:30, scheduled writers and actors meet at 7:00pm so roles can be handed out.

About SIP: Scripts in Progress intends to build a community of mostly local writers and actors by providing the space and opportunity for artists to share, develop and experience new work. The brainchild of Erin Courtney, SIP previously took place at Room 58 in Brooklyn.

BAX happily continues the SIP tradition, supporting Brooklyn’s vibrant creative community with this informal and fun reading series.
