Victoria Libertore Well, I got off the boat from Ohio 11 years ago, and can say I’m still madly in love with this city. I love the line in That’s Life where Frank Sinatra sings, “I’ve be been a puppet, a pauper, a pirate, a poet, a pawn and a king.” It certainly applies to my decade here and all the different hats I’ve worn! The list is too long and, at points, too scandalous to go into the details. Let’s just say I’ve had a lot of jobs, met a lot of fascinating people and have some tales to tell! And now, after years of putting one foot in front of the other, I have support to do what I love: perform, teach and guide others in creating their own performance work and give intuitive, shamanic readings.

I think my greatest joy (besides having a good meal with close friends!) is seeing people learn to trust that inner voice that guides them when they’re creating work. OH, well, truth be told, my great joy is probably applause. I do love it so. Applause and then making people laugh through my performance work. And then, third, would be helping people create their own work. Yes, I was being unrealistically selfless there. Keep your torches burnin’.
