Lloyd Miller, leader of the Deedle Deedle Dees, plays a show backed up by “the Brooklyn Phonebook,” an all-star group of some of his favorite people: his students, his musician friends, and YOU. Bring your favorite instrument so you can join the band.

A well-equipped playspace is available in conjunction with the performance. Children and their grown-ups are free to take a break and return to the show at any time.
The playspace remains open until 1:00 pm.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

LLOYD MILLER is the leader of the Deedle Deedle Dees, a Brooklyn based educational rock band which Paste magazine hailed as one of the top “Music Picks for Families” in 2011. The Deedle Deedle Dees’ latest release, Strange Dees, Indeed, was recently featured on NPR’s All Things Considered and was selected for the Top 10 Best CDS of 2011 by the Fids and Kamily critics poll. The band is in heavy rotation on Sirius XM Kids Place Live and many other family radio shows across the country. Lloyd leads six sing-a-longs every week in Brooklyn and Queens.
