ABOUT THE ARTIST

Charles Dennis has been an active in the New York post-modern dance and performance art scene since 1972. He performed extensively with theater director Robert Wilson in the 1970’s including the landmark 1976 work, “Einstein on the Beach”. In 1979 he co-founded Performance Space 122, one of this country’s most active presenters of new dance and performance. In the 1980’s and 90’s he created numerous, critically acclaimed works of performance that combined dance, visual media and performance art.
