At BAX, we strike a thoughtful balance between technical skill and creative expression. Students are taught Dance, Theater and Tumbling by seasoned professionals, who are active performers, choreographers, actors or playwrights.

BAX has been recognized for excellence in youth arts education by city, state and national public and private foundations. Our youth programs have been featured in several Brooklyn, NYC, and national publications, celebrating our continued support of young artist’s imagination and creativity.

Over 600 young people study dance, theater, tumbling and related courses year-round at our Park Slope studios. Deeply invested in developing and encouraging the artist in each student, we offer a full range of youth classes six days a week for ages 18 months – 18 years.
