BAX Bambinos

Our BAX Bambinos Program offers individualized attention with seasoned and nurturing instructors for the developing toddler and pre-schooler. Our fun and creative child/caregiver class format provides an enriching introduction to body movement and music. Our BAX Bambinos offerings are deeply connected to the value we place on family and community. The shared experience in our movement focused classes are carefully tied to the child’s developmental progression and are meant to broaden and expand their sensory experiences as well as introduce social interaction with peers.

Move and Groove I (18 months–2.5 years with parent or caregiver) Movement, rhythm, rhyme and song combine to stimulate your baby’s body, mind and spirit. This class provides a creative movement experience while developing body as well as spatial awareness. Toddlers wiggle, gallop, clap, shake and slide in a supportive group environment. Child and caregiver will move and sing together while participating in group activities that encourage creativity.

Move and Groove II (2.5-3.5 years with parent or caregiver) Toddlers stretch their bodies and imaginations through movement activities, songs, stories, creative props and rhythmic games. This class increases spatial and body awareness through emphasis on physical articulation and timing. Child and caregiver will move and sing together in group activities that encourage empowerment, creativity and develop basic social skills.

Mamma’s Mojo (Pre/Post-natal Mothers, Infants 0-9 months)  Come get your Mojo going.  This pre/post-natal class combines appropriate fitness and yoga principles while creating a welcoming community of mammas.  Exercises for pre-natal mothers will focus on strengthening and stretching muscles and improving circulation.  Post-natal mothers will focus on rebuilding strength in key areas of the body.  Infants 0-9 months are welcome!
This class is also a part of our AccessBAX Adult Workshops. Click HERE to learn more.

Playspace (ages 1-4 with parent or caregiver)  Activities include hoops, tunnels, coloring, balls, books and are with the help of the Playspace facilitator. Children can bring special toys, books, or other childhood comfort items, but must bring their own diapers, wipes, snacks and drinks. Parents must remain on site. Playspace is now a PEANUT FREE ENVIRONMENT.

This is a wonderful activity to incorporate into your weekly routine and provides an opportunity to meet new friends, socialize and engage in a bright and open space.

Please note: Playspace is now open for the Fall 2011 Trimester.
